Lots of kids in my school can't have lots of stuff. There is a nut free table and kids who can't drink milk and kids who can't have gluten.
Gluten is something that is in a lot of bread. But there are a lot of things that you can make that do not have gluten. And they all taste really good.
Tonight we made gluten-free chicken nuggets with Pop Chips! Pop Chips are a really good snack and them come in a lot of flavors. Most of them are gluten-free but not all of them so check the bag before you eat them if you can't have gluten.
There are lots of pictures in this post because we did a lot of work but it was all really fun!
First, we crunched up the Pop Chips in a small blender. This is one step that my mom helped with but we were able to push down the top of the blender too.
Next we dipped the chicken cubes into the Pop Chips, into the egg and then back into the Pop Chips
Finally, we baked them for 20 minutes on 400F and they were delicious. You can also make a gluten-free dipping sauce with spicy mustard and honey. My mom made the smiley faces but I'm working on it!
